Today, while at work, I was walking down this grassy, muddy, snowy, slushy hill in my Crocs and scrubs, trying to get to my truck which was parked in the street. I was doing this sort of tip-toe, ballet sort of walk, in hopes of not getting my socks wet and I did a really graceful pirouette and fell right on my ass. It was so graceful and, honestly, hysterical. My friend and co-worker who was walking with me, in between guffaws, asked if I was alright. It’s okay, I was laughing, too. I was alright except for that kind of scraped up, bruised hand thing you get when you fall in to icy snow and my clothes and jacket (which I had just washed) were covered in mud.
Now, several hours later, I am more than a little sore. Especially in my back and hip. My back because I think I twisted it when I fell and my hip because I fell on it. Such. A. Dork. Luckily I wasn’t a little older and more frail or I could have broken my hip.
Anyone have suggestions on how to get mud out of pastel pink scrub pants?

My anti-spam work was suckage. That about says it all.
As for the mud: Rinse as much as you can out, then make a paste with detergent and water (if you use a powder) and work it into the stain and leave it there at least overnight. If you use a liquid detergent, do the same thing but leave out the water.

Finn–That does about say it all. LOL
I’ll try that, thanks.
Sometimes I think my life is a sitcom.
Try Zout – that usually gets nearly everything out – another one is Awesome that you can get at the dollar store – we use that at work on the stained t-shirts and get everything out including coffee and tomato stains.
Love ya,
Mom
I’ll second the Zout recommendation. It’s saved quite a few shirts for me.
Hope you’re feeling better, Shelli!
