Why? Why is it that every single time we have a long weekend, I get some idiotic virus that makes me want to spend all my time in bed. It started Thursday morning with a horrible cough that came from my toes. Being the optimist that I am, I was sure I was having a pulmonary embolism since I had no other symptoms at that time. However, by the afternoon, my throat hurt and my eyes were watery. Now I have the full-blown-snot-in-my-nose-and-dripping-down–the-back-of-my-throat-irritating-the-piss-out-of-me-thing. I took 6 hours worth of naps yesterday. My head felt like it would explode. I’m afraid that every time I cough, I am going to find part of my lung on my hand or shirt or in the crook of my elbow.
I am completely blaming it on the gym where people have no common sense and sneeze and cough all over the place without covering their mouths/noses (who the hell raised these idiots). Oh, and the little cherubs at work who cough and sneeze and breathe on and touch me all day long.
Can’t I just enjoy one single holiday weekend without having to write a will because I’m sure I’m dying?
If you do die, can I have your car?

So sorry you are infected. It suuuuuuucks and was a major reason I hated going to the gym when I did. But sugar you work in the middle of the germie stew.
