I know the following to be true:
- Missing a whole week of school can cause you to be very behind in all of your classes.
- Five year olds talk a lot.
- Being a nurse to your child during your days off can make it seem as if you didn’t have any days off at all.
- Hair dye stinks but can make you feel good.
- Having a Dad/husband who can color hair with one hand while staining wood with the other is a pretty awesome thing. (Okay that’s a little bit of an exaggeration. But he does both things well.)
- Typing is hard with only one hand.
- Crabby Patty candy smells awful but according to all who tried it, it tastes yummy. Especially the pickles. (I’m not sure I know this is true. Well, I know that it smells awful.)
- Teachers can be awesome.
EnglishILA is more my subject than Math is.- Having all of the contents of your locker at home can be difficult when you have to go back to school and have to carry it with only one fully functional arm.
- I have absolutely no knowledge about how Trigonometry works.
- Your kids need you and love you even if they think they don’t.
- The next clue to my costume is: I might explode.

You sure know a lot of factual things! lol
English is my subject, more so than math, also.
Did I miss the memo that you had gone back to school???
*HUGS*
What is ILA?
Finns last blog post..This Is Mine
yea, 5 year olds are funny and talk a lot. Today I taught first graders. I asked the question “Are there earth materials smaller than sand?” A boy raised his hand and said women! I said what did you say, he said yea women are smaller.
I though what the heck does he think I am talking about?!
Finn–Integrated Language Arts. English, to you and I. It’s what they call it in our schools.
PeggyG–They are weird, aren’t they?
I hope the one-armed guy finds a friend to help him get all his stuff back to school!
8 year olds talk a lot too…there is never a day off when you are a parent. I am always exhausted. I have trouble typing two handed on some days. I have tried using one, it doesn’t work very well at all. Nice blog.
