I had acinic cell carcinoma 9 years ago, and they were really on top of it as far as my treatment was concerned. I heard another cancer survivor say that it’s all about the stats… they devote their energy to the really treatable cancers so that they have a better cure rate (not that I’m complaining, by any means!).

It’s depressing for the tough cancers like pancreatic… people can and do survive it, but it’s rough, and you’re even more in need of the support of the cancer agencies.

My heart has been hurting so deeply for her. She’s a beautiful person, a beautiful Mom, a beautiful wife and so obviously talented and creative. That bracelet is beautiful.

I’ve definitely been praying for her.

I had cervical cancer back in 2000. Cancer sucks. I am glad your friend is out of the hospital and creating beautiful things. Remember the survivor motto..."courage, wisdom, strength". I wear it around my neck everyday. CPs last blog post..Ta DAHHHHHHHH!!! I'm back, bitches!
