As you may (or may not) know, my cell phone, Lucky, once tried to end her life. It was after she was completely revived that we named her Lucky because, after her near drowning in the toilet, she was lucky to still be alive. Well, my friends, Lucky is suffering from side effects from her earlier suicide attempt. The specialists said that she might never be the same after what she had been through, but I didn’t believe them. And she was okay for a long time. It was over a year ago that the unfortunate event happened. However, some of her organs have suffered long term damage and are finally failing. It is hard to look at some of the rust on her and remember her once lustrous shine. When she cannot perform some of the simple tasks that I ask her to perform, it is heartbreaking. It may be time for her to go to the cell phone heaven in the sky. :((

Fear not, my friends! A replacement has been found. As much as I loved my Lucky, her replacement is going to be even better. It will be like holding a miniature computer in hand. Complete with QWERTY keyboard and all! It will be my first like it. I cannot wait. It comes on Friday. Jason searched long and hard (by that I mean that he researched and contemplated and bid and was out bid and bid some more and so on and so forth for days, even weeks on end) for a suitable replacement for Lucky. I think he did an awesome job, too. It will need a name when it comes. I don’t yet know if it is a boy or a girl. I will have to see when it comes. There is a way to tell these things, I am sure.
