Isabelle was here Thursday night and Friday. We were playing outside and she said, “Let’s watch The Little Mermaid,” as we were sitting on the bench on our front walk. She found the “mote” and turned the TV on. Then she began to relay with startling accuracy everything that was going on in the movie. Let me clarify. We do NOT have a TV outside. Nor do we have a “mote” for the TV out there. She sang the songs, she called the characters by name, including Sebastian, and was even scared at the scary parts. Oh, to have that kind of memory again.
The poor little punkin’ was sick when she came on Thursday night and all she wanted to do (between trips to the bathroom) was to snuggle under a blanket. I like a snuggly punkin’, so it’s all good. She felt much better in the morning, so that was good. She says so many funny things, I would have to have a tape recorder going all the time to remember them all. She talks nonstop sometimes. She is so much fun and exhausting all at once. I will never complain, though, about the time that we have with her. I love her very much.

With the yucky weather coming, we are going to be keeping a low profile this weekend. So, I will probably be around. We will probably also do some more catching up on The Sopranos on DVD and I think we will take in a movie, the new Bourne one, tonight. I’ve heard from several people that it is very good.
Just a relaxing weekend. I hope you enjoy yours, too. Stay warm, or cool, depending on what the case may be for you.

ack! please I beg of you ! take me to see Bourn with youuuuuuu
*droolz*
The Kid is like that too. Some days he spends constantly reciting whole scenes from movies, by heart, completely and totally detailed!
Isabelle always sounds beautiful.
I need to stay dry as it is raining right now… =:)
But now you are sick. Silly Isabelle.
Isabelle must be so much fun to hang around with.
The weather here is a little cool. i think we’re going school shopping.
Hey Shelli–
It’s hard when those little ones are ill. But they’re so darned cute and cuddly when they don’t feel good!
I’m doing homework..good weekend for that, I don’t feel like I’m missing out on much
The middle child wants to return a couple of her new items she bought… because someone else already has them :-w
The oldest had her car break down last night, Dad had to tow it home…he’ll be at that all day…and she’ll likely have my car
Snort is happy with a ball and bat or a hockey stick…but if it rains like they are predicting…and they’re never that accurate…he’ll be playing Guitar Hero all day
So…that’s our day.
I’ll be spending time with Babygirl when she gets home from vacation tonight! She has already requested “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and chinese food!!:d
Sounds like a fun weekend. I am “back” to blogging now and slowly catching up with all my blog reading.
Glad to see a lot of people are still around lol.
Blue–We didn’t end up seeing it. I got sick at dinner.
Dutchy–Isn’t that freaky? Her mother was like that, too. Mostly with music. She could hear a song once and sing it back to you perfectly.
Mar–It’s raining here, too. Gloomy and cold.
Fab–I know. She didn’t mean to share.
Barbara–I love school shopping. Even when I am not getting anything for myself.
Dr.Mom–They were right about the weather this time. Pretty wet and cold. You sound busy. I’ll just relax for both of us.
MM–I am not much of a Rocky Horror girl. In fact, I don’t think I have ever seen it.
Wendy–Welcome back! I’ll be by soon, too.
