Remember before my birthday when I said that I wanted to do some fun things around here after my birthday? Well, that time has come my friends. I know. It’s difficult to conceal your excitement, isn’t it? It’s been three weeks since my birthday and I haven’t revealed my plans yet. I just had so many things to say about stuff since then. Except of course last weekend, but you know why I didn’t post about it then.
The first thing that I wanted to do, was to build a Minnesota bloggers blogroll. I have been thinking about it for a long time. I have just never gotten around to it. Now I am. I think that I am going to call it Minnesota Blogging Associates. That way, if you are a Minnesota blogger and you belong to my blogroll, really OUR blogroll, you can say that you are an MBA! I crack myself up. I am taking applicants and, by that I mean, leave your name and blog address in comments or email it to me and I will add you. I am working on a cool button. If I can’t make one myself, I will have someone else do it for me. It’s going to be awesome. Here’s where you come in (yes, even if you aren’t a Minnesotan), let all your blogging friends know and tell them to tell their blogging friends and so on and so on and so on. Okay, just tell people you know who are from Minnesota. That should be enough. Tell them to come to this post and let me know if they want to belong. Oh, and yes, there is at least one other Minnesota blogroll, but it isn’t as cool as this one is going to be. Maybe it is, but if it is, I don’t want you to tell me. Just keep me clueless and let me think that this one is better. ‘Kay, thanks. I think that I may allow for “honorary Minnesotans” to be on the blogroll. I will have to think of something fantastic that they will have to do to be an honorary Minnesotan. hmmm…
The second thing that I want to do is do a regular interview session with bloggers. For instance, if you want to be interviewed by me, you would leave a comment saying so and then I would send you questions and you would answer them and I would post them on my blog. Or if I get no willing participants, I will ask people to please help me with this idea that I have. I will beg. I will plead. I will bribe. I will demean myself and fall at your feet, at your complete and total mercy. So, be nice and save me from all that humiliation. I am probably going to do it just weekly or even every other week. We’ll see how it goes.

I like it! I especially like the honorary Minnesotan idea. Maybe you could require applicants to email you a photo of themselves eating lutefisk. Okay, that might be too mean. Lefse, maybe.
If you didn’t get so much snow up there I would also ask to be a Honorary Minnesotan. But..sorry…did my share in Alaska.
But, as a new blogger I would be willing to be interviewed…
