Which One of You Called NBC?

(First, you won’t understand this post unless you read the one below before you read this one.)

I was laying in my hotel bed, holding a remote in my hand, after just having gone to the bathroom, thereby touching the door knob, the toilet handle, the light switch and the faucet (yes, I did wash my hands when I was done, although it would not have mattered, I see now), when this story came on Weekend Today. I asked you not to tell me about the bugs and all the gross stuff in hotel rooms, so my question is: Who told NBC to run this story this morning? It’s a conspiracy, I know it. Someone wanted me to be creeped out. I will find you. ;)

(Paul did stop by and comment on my previous post. See, he rocks. Check out his explanation in comments.)

    Wasn’t Me Shelli–
I go a little crazy myself when I start thinking about it… so I don’t. But… the first thing to hit the floor is the bedspread…. HUGE “eeeeew” factor for me there.

Here voting for you again! Hope you’re having fun!

I don’t know if hotel rooms have to go thru a health inspection, but they sure as hell should.

I tivo’d “The Office” on Thursday night and I just watched it. The latest episode took place in a hotel and at the end they light the room with a black light and you’d never guess what the floor, bedspread and walls are covered with. Uhhhh.

I always put the bedspread on the floor when I get into a hotel room too. Yuck.

A few months back one of the news channels ran a story about bed bugs in hotels and motels. Seems people end up bringing them home with them after spending a night or two in these places.

I’d like to see what they’d come up with if they tested the inside of a subway car.

    Oh, sorry about that.
