I really appreciate all the praise for Emily. She read all the comments, too. I am sure that it meant a lot to her as well. It is nice sometimes to be reassured that the things you see in your children are seen by others as well. That it isn’t because you wear rose colored glasses when it comes to them.
You guys were so nice to me on Monday when I said that I didn’t have a headache anymore. You celebrated. We danced. Everyone had a blast. Hmmmm…maybe that was the post Emmy party that I was thinking of. In any case, my reprieve was short-lived. By that night I had a headache and even on the vitamin V (for Vicodin), I am not getting much relief from it. The next step then is to actually go see a doctor who specializes in defunct brains, a neurologist. I will be seeing him a week from tomorrow. Hopefully he will be able to figure out what the hell is going on and what to do about it to get rid of these bleeping headaches.
This weekend my husband and I are making a trip up to the shore of Lake Superior to one of our favorite towns, Duluth, Minnesota. It is so beautiful up there. Especially at this time of year when the leaves are changing and the air is crisp. We will be lazy, shop, eat, go see a lighthouse, maybe see some other sights and just be without kids for the weekend. Why are we going you ask? Because we will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary on Friday. There will still be posts, but I won’t be responding to comments or blog surfing. Sorry. As a consolation, maybe I will have some beautiful pictures for you to see next week.
I am getting a redesign!! I have contracted with Krome from IllDream to do a redesign for me. I have been going crazy looking for graphics, artwork, designs, etc. to use. I am looking for something that is tastefully sensual. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I am open to suggestions. The link above is for her design site. That was one of our favorite things to do, pre-kids. Now post-kids… we’re too busy playing taxi to even know one another exists.

I’m sorry your headaches are still around. I just got my script refilled. Your’s are way worse then mine. I wish you didn’t have them Hopefully, the next doctor will figure it out. Or, we can do a head transplant. Maybe with someone really stupid so if you do get a headache, you wouldn’t know because you were really dumb.
