How amazing and fitting that the Discovery Space Shuttle took off today on this, our country’s 230th birthday? What a beautiful site. God bless those heroes on board who are doing their part to further the technology of our country.

BlogMad hit! Blastoff!
It was amazing…I got goosebumps as they took off!
It was so amazing to watch on TV. The film crew did an excellent job! And that camera on the fuel tank was so cool! I agree with YellowRose I got chill bumps. It is so great to see the USA back in space.
I didn’t watch, but I guess the duct tape worked.
Never wanted to be on a space mission. I think I’d panic. I would definitely be bad company…
It’s refreshing to finally read a blog with some class. I hope someday to achieve some class on my blog. I’m not there yet. Actually not looking too good in the near future either…. someday though..
My Dad used to really get into the Space shots. I found myself this time watchign the NASA channel constantly. I’ve even been checkign it out during commercials of other shows. The cockpit cam blew my mind last night. They showed them during take off and they have notepads on their laps as the thing blasts off and they are taking notes and stuff the whole time. I can’t imagine taking notes with all those g-forces pressing agsaist me.
